About Instructor
Connor found martial arts when he was 10/11 years old through JKD, moving to Muay Thai in his time at high school and in 2016 started training Brazilian jiu jitsu.
Throughout Connor’s training he was also studying Sports coaching, fitness instructing and personal trainer in hopes to make his career into the fitness world, instead Connor has used his time in education to aide his coaching in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
Connor started teaching at the age of 18 doing fitness classes for Brazilian jiu jitsu until he transitioned into becoming a Nogi coach post Covid, from there he spent multiple days a week coaching Nogi and covering gi classes in between his personal training for numerous years.
On top of this Connor is a active competitor as seen on many submission only shows and competing from local to major tournaments, Connor has found success on the submission only scene achieving the 88kg Grapple wars title while also winning competitions such as the English open, Connor uses his competition experience as a way to lead for his students and build the stepping stones so students have the confidence and ability to achieve the same and even more.
In his time training Connor has trained at some of the best gyms in the world and is still active with his current team The Resistance who have helped Connor build his ability to improve on the competition scene.
Soperior Grappling Club has always been Connor’s big dream and being able to coach and see his students learn, adapt and achieve is what motivates him to build the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experience he possibly can.
