Every great journey starts with a single step — or in this case, a single mat.

My name is Connor Soper, and after years of training, competing, and immersing myself in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & other martial arts, I’m proud to finally share something I’ve dreamed about for as long as I can remember: the opening of Soperior Grappling.

This club beginning with flashy facilities or a huge space. In fact, it’s starting in a small, modest unit, the kind of place most people would walk past without a second glance. But to me, it was perfect. It was a blank canvas — a place where passion mattered more than square footage, and where the focus would always be on the people inside, not the size of the building. For years, martial arts has shaped who I am. It’s taught me discipline, resilience, humility, and the importance of community. Opening my own club isn’t just about teaching techniques; it’s about creating a space where others can experience the same growth, confidence, and connection that martial arts gave me.

Soperior Grappling is built on simple values:
– Train hard.
– Stay humble.
– Support each other.
– Grow together.

We may be starting small, but every champion, every black belt, every thriving community begins exactly the same way — with a handful of people who believe in the vision and show up ready to work.

If you’re reading this, thank you for being part of the beginning. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a seasoned grappler, or someone just curious about what we do, you’re welcome here. This is just the first chapter, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes us.

Here’s to the mats, the sweat, the learning, and the community we’re building — one session at a time.
